Last week, AS claimed that Vinicius Jr has struck an agreement with Real Madrid to extend his contract until 2026, which was set to expire in 2024. Vinicius, who is now one of the team’s lowest-paid players, had not sought a rise or a contract extension and was not the one who insisted on the agreement. Real Madrid, on the other hand, wished to thank him for his efforts and commitment.
Some supporters wished the contract had been extended until 2027 in order to secure the Brazilian star for another year.
According to a story published today by Fabrizio Romano, supporters may get their desire.
“It’s time for a Real Madrid update. In the next few days, Vincius Jnior will sign a new contract until 2027, which is one season longer than projected, according to Romano’s social media. “To avoid future complications, Florentino Pérez wants to alter it to a five-year pact, not later than 2026.”
“Vincius has agreed,” says the narrator.
Real Madrid had to deal with a significant contract extension.
