Vinicius Jr. is seen in a viral video by a Real Madrid fans ‘playing football that Mbappe can only dream of.’
In 2021/22, Vinicius Junior had a breakout season at Real Madrid.
In previous seasons, the Brazilian winger pretended to be someone he wasn’t in the iconic white shirt. There were flashes of his terrifying brilliance, but not nearly enough finished result.
However, in 2021/22, everything changed. Vinicius has definitely established himself in football’s upper echelon after scoring 22 goals and assisting another 20 in all competitions.
The former Flamengo striker also scored the sole goal in Real Madrid’s 1-0 Champions League final triumph over Liverpool, which gave them a record-extending 14th title in club football’s most prestigious league.
Vinicius displayed his amazing dribbling skills and arsenal of skill moves throughout the season, in addition to putting up some really astounding stats.
Every week, a fresh video of the 21-year-old leaving another hapless opponent chasing shadows with his lightning-fast feet appeared on the internet.
Vinicius can do things with a football that Kylian Mbappe just cannot, according to one Real Madrid fan, who has made a video collection to prove their argument.
Last month, Mbappe famously turned down a transfer to Real Madrid in favor of signing a lucrative three-year contract deal with Paris Saint-Germain, infuriating Madridistas.
As a result, it’s likely that supporters are feverishly attempting to persuade themselves that Vinicius is the better player.
To be honest, the collection is rather impressive…
Imagine trying to halt Vinicius in the throes of his rage. The youngster is a one-of-a-kind footballer.
Let’s not forget, though, that Mbappe is one of the most dangerous players on the globe, capable of doing things that Vinicius just cannot.
While the Brazilian is somewhat better at dribbling the ball, Mbappe is significantly better at utilising it in the final third, as seen by his superhuman-like statistics.
In the 2012/13 season, the PSG forward scored 39 goals and assisted on another 26, giving him the most goal contributions of any European player.

Both Vinicius and Mbappe are phenomenally talented players who appear to be destined to dominate the game at the top level for the foreseeable future.
But, right now, Mbappe has the upper hand, and if you don’t believe that, you’re allowing your Real Madrid bias to cloud your judgment.
