Federico Pastorello, Romelu Lukaku’s agent, created a sensation with a recent interview he gave to Italian daily La Repubblica, which was published on Friday.
Federico Pastorello addressed the tensions between Thomas Tuchel and Romelu Lukaku, claiming that the Chelsea striker will want assurances about his future at the end of the season.
Lukaku looked to be displeased with his agent’s public remarks, later claiming on Instagram that Pastorello’s interview was “not in my name.”
“I will never, ever allow someone speak for me,” Lukaku wrote. “I kept my mouth shut and concentrated on helping the squad finish the season well.”
“So if someone is attempting to say something negative about me or the club, don’t do it in my name.”
