Antonio Rudiger has one more game left as a Chelsea player before joining Real Madrid.
The 29-year-old will join Los Blancos on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Rudiger, who has played for Chelsea under four different managers, has advised new owners not to follow the previous trend of firing coaches.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel, according to Rudiger, is a good coach on par with Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola.
“I hope that the culture of replacing managers so early when success isn’t there evolves for this club,” Rudiger told The Times.
“I like to trust the process, and you can see that there is one with this coach.”
“Having a coach like him makes Chelsea extremely proud. The manner in which he conducted himself. You have to give him credit for the way he handled things in those difficult situations.
“You have to give him respect for going out there at Santiago Bernabéu with all the commotion and the way he controlled us and delivering something like this [winning Real Madrid away but being ousted from the Champions League in extra time] with everything that was going on.”
“He is a fantastic coach in my opinion. He’s on the same level as Pep Guardiola and Jürgen Klopp.”
