Report: Star dribbler has told Tuchel he would only join Chelsea on one condition

According to rumors, Ousmane Dembele will be a Chelsea player next season, with the 25-year-contract old’s scheduled to expire this summer.

Dembele is set to join Chelsea as a free agent this summer, something Barcelona does not approve of.

Dembele, according to The Sun, wants Tuchel to give him assurances about his playing time like he did at Dortmund.

Dembele is thought to be making this choice as a result of his inconsistency on the field at Barcelona. In 150 appearances with Barcelona, Dembele scored 32 goals and added 34 assists.

The France international began to get more playing time under Xavi Hernandez, and the new manager was able to get the most out of the France international.

Dembele, on the other hand, was not interested in prolonging his stay with the Catalan giants.

Xavi has stated that he hopes Dembele reconsiders his choice and decides to stay at Barcelona.

“Negotiations are underway, and we will remain positive,” he stated.

“I hope he can stay; he has been really helpful to us over the last six months.” He’s a decisive player who has a lot of assists and has performed admirably in a number of games.

“We’ve missed him when he hasn’t played.” I like him as a football player, and we’d want to keep him, but we’ll see.”

If Dembele and Sterling sign for Chelsea, it’s unclear who the Blues will sell, since Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech, and Timo Werner have all complained about a lack of playing time.
