report- Real Madrid sells 50% of Kubo’s rights to Real Sociedad

According to a MARCA report, a contract between Real Madrid and Real Sociedad is being finalized for Japanese striker Takefusa Kubo, who will join with the Basque club till the summer of 2027.

Similar to what occurred with Martin Odegaard, Los Blancos are merely ceding 50% of Kubo’s rights and will have five years to get him back whenever they like.

If Real Sociedad choose to sell Kubo before the summer of 2027, Madrid will also receive 50% of the transfer cost; the price for the other 50% of Kubo’s rights is unknown.

Kubo is a bright talent who will probably get valuable playing time for Real Sociedad. Fans of Real Madrid and Real Sociedad will need to be patient if they want to see Kubo succeed because he could not be ready to debut for such a prestigious team until the next season.
