Report: Chelsea “made an official bid” to sign Dutch international Tuchel

Some alarming rumors have it that Chelsea has made a formal bid to Manchester City for defender Nathan Ake.

Ake was anticipated to become one of the best defenders in the world when he made the crucial choice to join Pep Guardiola at Man City a few years ago.

The Dutchman, though, has mostly provided cover for Guardiola’s squad over the previous few seasons and has never really been given the opportunity to shine out in that Man City team.
As they try to balance the books by allowing a few players to leave the squad, Man City is said to be quite receptive to letting him go during this transfer window.
