Real Madrid has demanded  Juventus to pay 48 million euros for the defender

Juventus has turned to Real Madrid in search of a new left-back, and Ferland Mendy has piqued their attention.

Although the French full-back has just won the Champions League with the Spanish club, he is not one of the players that will be sold.

They’re rebuilding their team and have let Marcelo go, but they’ll still sell Mendy if the price is right.

Alex Sandro has struggled for Juventus in recent seasons, and his dismal performance last season prompted the club to hunt for a long-term successor.

They feel Mendy has the experience and know-how to be a better replacement for the Brazilian, but he will not be cheap.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Real Madrid has requested Juventus to spend 48 million euros to sign the Frenchman.

Unless a bidder matches their asking price, the Spanish side will keep him, which may be an issue for Juve.

Juve FC’s Statement

Sandro has served us well as a club, but his performances have grown erratic, and we need to move forward.

Mendy was a great act at Real Madrid, and his experience winning several domestic and international championships will be beneficial to our dressing room if he joins us.
