The team’s loss of Mbappe is significant, but the addition of a young midfield dynamo like Aurelien Tchouameni will allay some anxieties.
After rising through the Bordeaux development systems and making his Ligue 1 debut in the 2018/19 season, the French midfielder has enjoyed a meteoric ascent. After thriving at Monaco for two and a half seasons, he is likely to make a significant transfer to one of Europe’s top teams just four years later.
