RAHEEM STERLING HAS BEEN BACKED TO WIN IN REAL MADRID

Ray Parlour addressed the transfer rumours surrounding Raheem Sterling in an interview with talkSPORT. If the English international quits Manchester City to join a foreign club, the Arsenal veteran will not be shocked. He’s also confident in Sterling’s ability to prosper at Real Madrid.

Since joining Manchester City from Liverpool in July 2015, Raheem Sterling has had an outstanding career. The move was divisive at the time, but the 27-year-old has now vindicated his decision by contributing significantly to Manchester City’s success over the following seven years.

While Sterling has been in and out of the team in recent seasons, he had a good season in 2021-22, scoring 17 goals and adding nine assists in 47 appearances across all competitions. However, with one year remaining on his contract, the English international’s future at Manchester City is unknown, with Real Madrid keeping a close eye on his status.

According to recent rumours, the Spanish giants are planning a summer transfer for Sterling. Sterling might be a good fit for Real Madrid, who are looking for a replacement for Gareth Bale, who left the club as a free agent. Ray Parlour, a former Arsenal midfielder, has encouraged Sterling to thrive at Real Madrid if he comes there.
“I can see certain players considering trying a different league, a different culture — I wouldn’t rule out Raheem doing so.” He’s in the peak of his career and life, but he doesn’t get much playing time because Man City has so many talented players. So, sure, that was a bold move. This year, Real Madrid has astonished everyone. “I anticipated them to win La Liga, but not the Champions League,” says the author.

“To defeat Man City, Liverpool, and Chelsea, two of the finest teams in the world at the moment, it’s been an incredible season.” Real Madrid are picking up their game right now, and Raheem Sterling would make a fantastic addition. We tend to forget that he’s still only 27.”

“Pep Guardiola has had a lengthy career, but I’m sure he understands how crucial he is.” He’s a big-game player, as seen by his performance for England in the Euros. Everyone believed Sterling was out of sorts, yet he rose to the occasion and was easily one of our top performers in the competition. So, if he does go, I’m confident he’d do a fantastic job for Real Madrid.”
Real Madrid are reportedly stepping up their efforts to sign Sterling, with new sources indicating that they have stepped up their efforts to sign the 27-year-old. With his future at Manchester City uncertain, a move to the Santiago Bernabeu may be on the cards.
