“No clubs wants to buy him” Chelsea is desperate to sell 27-year-old for £30m less than they pay

According to reports, Chelsea has set a price for teams interested in hiring Kepa Arrizabalaga on a long-term basis.

According to The Athletic, the Blues want £30 million for the 27-year-old, which is £41 million less than what they paid to get him in 2018.

The Spain international has struggled to get many starts because of Edouard Mendy’s quick ascent to prominence, which has made manager Thomas Tuchel nearly unable to dismiss him.
Kepa’s confidence suffered a severe decline after his disastrous second season with the team, but cup games and heroics in penalty shootouts ought to have helped him start to regain some of it.

In his debut season under Maurizio Sarri, the Spaniard was unquestionably at his best, with his reflexes being notably cited as a big asset.

Chelsea set Kepa’s asking price
The Athletic reports that he is finalizing a loan deal to re-join his previous Italian boss at Napoli, indicating that the club is willing to acknowledge their failure in the market and cut their losses.

The Serie A team offers the Blues their greatest opportunity to land a long-term contract away from the club, the report continues, but the cost appears destined to become another stumbling block.
The route to the Chelsea first team appears to be as arduous as ever for Kepa, with a move seemingly the only opportunity for him to rekindle his career before it slips away from him in light of the club accepting a deal for the club’s future goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina.

The selection is likely to be remembered as one of the worst in Premier League history and as the club’s worst mistake under the previous ownership.

Having said that, the fans will be relieved to put the trauma behind them and look forward to building with Todd Boehly and the new owners.
