Kylian Mbappe Transfer Saga Not Over: Surprise Development With Real Madrid Move Back on the Cards

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has reignited the Kylian Mbappe transfer issue, according to Fabrizio Romano: “Real Madrid will always be ready to purchase players who realize that no one is larger than the club.” Despite Perez’s disappointment over the Mbappe deal falling through at the eleventh hour this summer, it’s evident that they are still interested in signing the French sensation in the future.
Since August of last year, Real Madrid has been after the Paris Saint-Germain star. “It was not easy for Mbappé to receive calls from the president of France,” Florentino Pérez said when questioned about the deal’s demise. “This is why Kylian has changed,” he concluded.
Real Madrid appeared to be confident in their acquisition of the 23-year-old. He had been heavily linked with a move to Los Blancos, but made a surprise U-turn to extend his contract at the Parc des Princes until 2025.

Perez earlier stated that the club had “already forgotten” about the Mbappe deal falling through. Perez is now refusing to close the door on the 23-year-old starlet, claiming that time heals all wounds.

Kylian Mbappe’s move to the Bernabeu appeared to be a foregone conclusion. Outside factors, according to Perez, prompted him to remain in Paris.

The French international is coming off another fantastic season in which he scored more than 30 goals for the fourth consecutive season and added 14 assists.

Paris Saint-Germain is still eager for its first Champions League title, and keeping one of their best players is critical to achieving that goal.

Mbappe’s 2022/23 season is probably the most crucial of his career, with the World Cup in Qatar providing him with the opportunity to demonstrate definitively that he is the finest player on the globe. To keep Donatello away from the Spanish giants, they will undoubtedly need to win the Champions League again in Paris.
