Omari Hutchinson has expressed his thanks to Arsenal and the club’s supporters after completing a surprise move to Chelsea.
After a spectacular season for the youth squad last year, the 18-year-old striker is expected to have a successful future at the Emirates. Even Mikel Arteta picked him to his team for the remaining games of the season.
He made the unexpected decision to quit the squad this summer, traveling across London to join a club team that is happy to have such a gifted athlete who may have a successful career in the sport.
However, after transferring to Stamford Bridge, Hutchinson congratulated the Arsenal supporters on social media, writing: “Dear fans, it’s time to say goodbye.”
“My time at Arsenal has been wonderful and unforgettable.”
“I will never forget my time spent here and the wonderful path it has led me on.
“This will be a memory that no one will ever forget.”
“Arsenal made me feel really welcomed and appreciated. I want to extend a massive thank you to all the staff, coaches, and members of my squad; it’s been a true joy,” I said.
“Last but not least, a huge thank you to all the Arsenal supporters who have helped and supported me.
Words cannot express my gratitude, respect, and love for each and every one of you!
