‘It’s not my duty,’ Thomas Tuchel says of what he wouldn’t tell Todd Boehly, the new owner

Prior to Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Wolves, American billionaire Todd Boehly and his group claimed that they had struck a deal to buy Chelsea for roughly £4.25 billion.

Tuchel said that he has yet to talk with Boehly, despite the fact that a lot of work has to be done this summer.

Tuchel also feels that it is not his responsibility to explain the club to Todd Boehly.

“I’m not sure whether it’s my job; I’m the team’s head coach and have plenty to do,” Tuchel remarked after the Wolves match.

“I’m delighted to offer him my impression if he wants it, but I’m not sure this is my job, and I’m very sure he understands what Chelsea is all about.”
