Good News: Ancelotti becomes the most successful coach in the history of UCL
Carlo Ancelotti became the most successful manager in UCL history as Real Madrid beat Liverpool 1-0 in the championship game.
Real Madrid won the Champions League title on Saturday under the direction of Carlo Ancelotti. In doing so, he won his fourth UCL title, becoming him the most successful manager in the competition’s history.
Before sweeping the continent once again with Real Madrid in 2014, the Italian guided AC Milan to championships in 2003 and 2007.
"I am the record man." 🤨

“I believe that nobody anticipated that we would prevail. In the post-game press conference, Ancelotti said, “I believe we’ve earned it. “We went through a lot of pain to win it, starting in the last 16, but we never gave up. I have to admit that Real Madrid makes it simpler than any other team to win the Champions League.
Only two coaches—Zinedine Zidane of Real and Bob Paisley of Liverpool—have won three European Cup championships.
4 – Carlo #Ancelotti became the manager to have won the UEFA Champions League the most times: four (for AC Milan in 2002/03 and 2006/07, for Real Madrid in 2013/14 and in 2021/22). Myth. #LiverpoolVsRealMadrid pic.twitter.com/LCJ7d163be

At the Stade de France, Ancelotti set a record by surpassing them. When he was a player for AC Milan under Arrigo Sacchi, he won the title twice, in 1989 and 1990.
Los Blancos only scored one goal in the championship game, but Ancelotti said he never questioned his team.
The key to winning today’s game, according to him, was not to give their front line any room. “Our back four performed well, and they were never able to get behind us. We performed better with the ball and won the game when their press relaxed in the second half.
