‘Give away goal’ – Lampard finally explains why Everton overcame Chelsea

Chelsea player Ruben Loftus-Cheek stated after the game against Everton that individual errors are the major reason of Chelsea’s current troubles.

Chelsea has been battling for wins for the last month, and the Blues have been allowing goals at an alarming rate.

Loftus-Cheek, who had a strong game against the Toffees, has now conceded that everyone has to cut down on their errors and be at their best for the remaining games of the season.

“It’s up to us as individuals to tune in and sharpen up as a team together,” Loftus-Cheek added. In football, getting everyone ready for the game is a must.

“If you don’t have these fundamentals, you’ll suffer as we’ve struggled the last four games.” This is far beyond Chelsea’s standard. Our concentration levels were insufficient.

“We want to finish in the top four, but we can’t accomplish it with other teams doing well around us.” We require victories. It’s difficult to process right now, and we’ll return to it once the emotions have subsided.

“We had countless scoring opportunities. Their goalkeeper produced some outstanding saves. I believe that if we put them in, we will be able to win.”
