After dating for over a year, Belgian soccer great Thibaut Courtois reportedly decided to take his relationship with Israeli beauty Mishel Gerzig to the next level and proposed to her on Saturday.
Courtois, 30, is seen down on one knee in photos that have surfaced on social media, while Gerzig, 24, appears to be crying tears of delight.
Courtois proposed on a trip to Italy’s Amalfi Coast, according to Spanish magazine Hola.
Courtois’ Real Madrid FC won the Champions League just days before the rumored proposition.
According to Channel 12 news, Gerzig and Courtois started dating around a year ago after meeting via common connections in the fashion sector.
They are said to have been residing in Spain since then.
Courtois is the goalkeeper for Real Madrid FC and the Belgian national soccer team. He has two children from a previous relationship.
