Chelsea are expected to be busy this summer as Thomas Tuchel attempts to rebuild the team for next season.
Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen have already moved to La Liga, while Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso’s futures are also up in the air, as both want to return to Spain.
On the plus side, Chelsea appears to be gaining the upper hand in the competition to acquire Ousmane Dembele and Jules Kounde.
Dembele has left Barcelona as a free agent, and Chelsea is expected to sign him.
According to reports, the Frenchman was waiting for Chelsea’s penalties to be lifted before deciding on his future club.
Dembele has already worked with Thomas Tuchel, who holds great regard for the attacking midfielder.
Chelsea are also in the running for Sevilla defender Jules Koundé, according to AS. Chelsea are a ‘absolute suitor’ for Koundé and are putting together a plan to sign him this summer.
Ousmane Dembele is understood to have delayed the decision on his future in part until the Chelsea sale was complete.
