Chelsea players respond to Rudiger’s statement that he will always love the club

In the 2-1 win over Watford on Sunday, Antonio Rudiger made his final appearance for the club.

Rudiger told Chelsea TV following his farewell encounter at the club: “Yeah, it was tough.” It’s been a difficult day for me. It was the same at Cobham the other day.

“Then I witness this (home support) reception, and all I can say is thank you.” Thank you for your help. This is a club I will never forget.

“This club will always hold a particular place in my heart.”

Rudiger also took to social media to express how important the club is to him.
