Chelsea asked to sign a forward for £60 million to replace Timo Werner, who is better

The club is ready to make a few changes this summer given how underwhelming several of the Blues’ attacks were last season.

In a statement, former Chelsea player Jadon Cundy advised they swap out Timo Werner for West Ham United winger Jarrod Bowen after they already acquired Raheem Sterling from Man City.

According to Cundy, Werner is inferior to Werner and Bowen is better at finishing than him.

Bowen contributed 12 goals and 12 assists in West Ham’s 36 Premier League appearances last season.

He’s been fantastic at West Ham, Cundy told talkSPORT. He also has a left foot, which adds a small additional dimension. He has excellent finishing. He has become stronger over time.
Actually, I’m surprised there hasn’t been a little bit more enthusiasm for him. In my opinion, he is superior to Werner since he fits that same model.

“Yeah, I would actually have Bowen,” she said. They won’t let him go for less than £50 to £60 million, in my opinion; I believe that’s where he is right now.
