Real Madrid

Carlo Ancelotti recognises the next potentially great Real Madrid right-back

So far, Real Madrid’s team preparation has been flawless. With a few exceptions, Real have done very well when it comes to vying for championships now and constructing for the future. Although they still need to add a few players, everything is going well.

There need to be a decent balance, and everyone is aware that Real Madrid has one. Older players like Toni Kroos, Karim Benzema, and Luka Modric are younger players like Vinicius Jr. and Fede Valverde, who are still extremely young and have a lot to learn. In order for the young players to really take over, the balance must only continue to improve.

Real Madrid does think they need to find successors for Karim Benzema and Dani Carvajal, but I believe they already have one for Carvajal. It’s still too early to tell, but Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid’s manager, has already acknowledged that Vinicius Tobias has the potential to take over as the team’s starting right-back.

As per AS, Ancelotti was expressing his feelings over Vinicius Tobias to his aides. Though Ancelotti’s comments were nice, as you might expect, he did express his admiration for the young person’s rapid learning rate.

Tobias definitely has potential, in my opinion. At Castilla, he got off to a rocky start, but as the season went on, his performances did become better, and perhaps he can go even better this season. I don’t think he’ll have many chances to play for the first team this year, but if he can win over the coach in preseason, everything may change.
In either case, Tobias needs to keep getting better. If he has sufficiently developed, the moment will come for him to start at Real Madrid. The sky is the limit for him when that occurs and he realizes his full potential. He has such a great attacking game, and I think it will only get better.
