After visiting Stamford Bridge for the first time since his takeover was approved, new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly appeared far from delighted after the final whistle of the match against Wolves. After Romelu Lukaku scored twice, the Blues seemed to be on their way to a straightforward 2-0 victory.

Cameras soon switched to Boehly, who was slumped in his hands in the stands. As the players walked off the field, the American businessman shook his head.

After having his first taste of VAR in the first half, Boehly had an interesting start to life as a Premier League team owner. Timo Werner’s and Ruben Loftus-goals Cheek’s were both called back due to a foul and offside, respectively.
Lukaku doubled his score for the day with a stunning finish only minutes later, and Chelsea appeared to be on their way to a much-needed win. Wolves fought back in the last ten minutes, with Coady scoring a thrilling equalizer late on.
