After confirming the Real Madrid deal, Antonio Rudiger makes a claim for Eden Hazard
Antonio Rudiger, a new Real Madrid player, believes Eden Hazard will finally find his feet.
Hazard has struggled since arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu on a free transfer from Chelsea in 2019.
The Belgian has been plagued by injuries, and even when healthy, he has battled to find a starting place.
This season, despite Hazard’s being fit for the bulk of the season, Carlo Ancelotti mainly overlooked him.
However, before the end of the season, the former Chelsea star had to undergo another treatment to have a previously implanted plaque removed from his ankle.
And now he’s ready to start over, expecting to finally realize his full potential.
Rudiger, a former Chelsea teammate who has recently joined the Belgian at Real Madrid, is one player who believes in him.
Rudiger told the Real Madrid club website, “I’m really glad to be back with Eden, now in Madrid.”
“I know he’s had a difficult few years with injuries and issues, but I still hope Madrid fans will see the Hazard I played with because he was without a doubt one of the finest players in the world.”
